Progress made following Viet Nam-US WTO talks (19-01-2006) HA NOI — "Both sides narrowed their differences considerably and are hopeful of an early conclusion to the negotiations," Deputy Trade Minister Luong Van Tu said, describing this as the most important progress made at the Viet Nam-US 10th round of negotiations on Viet Nam’s accession to the World Trade Organisation that ended in Ha Noi yesterday. Tu, who headed the Vietnamese delegation to the WTO talks affirmed that the two sides gained a better understanding of each other and exchanged a great amount of information in order to complete their negotiations in the near future. Salary of labour class increased 9.3% in 2017

The data collected from 63 provinces and cities shows that the average salary was VNĐ6.6 million (US$290) per month in 2017 compared to VNĐ6 million ($263) per month in 2016. The salary increase was higher than the 2017 regional minimum salary increase o f 7.3 per cent. Workers of a member limited liability compan y, in which the State own ed 100 per cent charter capital , received the highest average monthly salary of VNĐ7.9 million ($347), increasing 4.5 per cent compared to the previous year. It helps save my money and time,” she said with a smile. Khun was just one of many who have benefited from the joint cooperation between Việt Nam and Cambodia in the medical sector. AmCham, together with the British Business Group Việt Nam, is working with the HCM City Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion and the HCM City Humanitarian Blood Donation Centre to carry out the donor campaign at seven locations from July 12-21.
