Specifically, visitors from Asian countries have recently accounted for more than three-quarters of the country’s total international tourists. Chinese and South Korean guests have made up a large proportion of tourist numbers. Last year, these two markets accounted for up to 54.5% of a total of nearly 15.5 million foreign tourists.
