The types of automobile registration plates proposed for auction include the same five digits, the same four last digits, the same three last digits, steadily increasing digits (for example, 56789), and people’s favourite. The Ministry of Public Security announced on Tuesday that it had submitted the proposal to the Government for approval. The new decree prescribes that the fee for pickup trucks and vans with carriage capacity of less than 1,500 kilograms and fewer than five seats when being registered for the first time will be equal to 60% of the first registration fee for passenger vehicles with under nine seats, which are subject to fees of 10%-12%. The city’s Centre for Preventive Medicine could meet only one-thirtieth of the total demand for 91,000 vaccination doses. The registration process on the centre’s website at ytdphanoi.gov.vn -- during the third phase of the serviced vaccination programme this year -- started at 9am on Thursday. The system was soon overloaded with more than 91,000 logins, and automatically shut down after one hour and 28 minutes of recording registrations for the available 3,080 doses. The vaccines comprised 1,880 doses held over from the second phase last month and 1,200 new doses.
