Today, the lofty ideals may remain, but there are times I feel these are gathering dust in the shelves of our memory as the profession goes through one existential crisis after another. Writing contest on Việt Nam – Laos relationship launched
HÀ NỘI – A writing contest, themed ‘The history of Việt Nam-Laos ties: A special relationship," was launched today, to celebrate the 55 th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Laos (September 5, 1962-September 5, 2017) and the 40 th anniversary of the signing of the Lao-Vietnamese Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation (July 7, 1977-July 18, 2017).
