WELLINGTON — Vietnamese and New Zealand Government officials met in the capital city of Wellington on Thursday to discuss ways to step up co-operation in a wide range of areas. The 3rd biennial meeting of the Viet Nam-New Zealand Joint Committee for Economic and Trade Co-operation was co-chaired by the Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Nguyen Thanh Bien, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Tony Browne of the host country. New Zealand pledged to continue its support for Viet Nam at regional and international organisations and forums.
