At a seminar on noncash payments held by the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) and Tuoi Tre newspaper today, January 15, SBV Deputy Governor Nguyen Kim Anh said the promotion of noncash payments is indispensable due to their considerable benefits for consumers. A DATAM representative was cited by Thanh Nien Online newspaper as saying that the project requires an estimated investment of US$525 million, which will be sourced from the United Nations’ Green Climate Fund.
