Nguyễn Thị Hương, 62, and her son Trần Đăng Khương, 35, are facing legal proceedings for creating fake seals and forging documents of government agencies, businesses and schools, Thanh Niên (Young People) online newspaper reported. Some 283 fake seals were confiscated from the suspects’ home in Vinh City, including those of the Ministry of Public Security’s Investigation Agency, Nghệ An Public Security Agency and some district police divisions. Judge expels two Malaysian crooks (11-08-2005) HA NOI — Two Malaysians who used fake Indonesian passports and 16 false credit cards to misappropriate goods worth VND657 million, or US$41,500, from shops in the capital have been expelled from Viet Nam by a judge of the Ha Noi People’s Court. The goods obtained by Sham Fook Cheong, 38, and Sazlinda binti Jamalodin, 27, after entering Viet Nam on April 9 last year included expensive cameras, jewellery and mobile phones. Their 23 fraudulent transactions were carried out over four days. Of the money, VND352 million was from the Ha Noi Asia Commerce Bank, VND132 million from the Bank for Foreign Trade of Viet Nam and VND172 million from ANZ Bank, Ha Noi.
