Following an interview critical of the service on Monday, Tom Hanks has clarified some of his feelings about the release of "Greyhound" on Apple TV+ . Hanks previously told The Guardian that the "Greyhound" release on Apple TV instead of in cinemas was an " absolute heartbreak ," largely due to the differences in picture and sound quality. In a televised interview on NBC's "Today" show on Tuesday morning, Hanks has added some additional clarifications about "Greyhound" on Apple TV. Warner Bros. will release 17 films, including "The Matrix 4" and "Dune" to its streaming service for a full month alongside theatrical releases. In response to ongoing concerns about the growing coronavirus case numbers, Warner Bros are giving movie fans to see blockbusters at home. The movies will be released to HBO Max , Warner Media's own streaming service . The studio already had planned on doing the same with "Wonder Woman 1984" on December 25 as COVID-19 cases continue to spike around the globe. The Hollywood Reporter points out that it is likely that theater owners were not consulted and anticipates that there may be blowback as theaters struggle to comply with COVID-19 regulations and reduced theater attendance. Citing sources familiar with the matter, Deadline reports " Greyhound " was the largest opening weekend release in Apple TV+ history, including bows for original series. Tim Cook on Wednesday said that supply for Apple's popular AirPods Max could continue to suffer constraints through the first quarter of 2020. Tim Cook announced on Wednesday that the premium headphones would likely be in short supply into the company's second quarter, reports Reuters . AirPods Max was announced in mid-December and are Apple's premiere luxury over-ear headphones. One of the downsides of being early adopters of new technology is that we tend to buy the best system available at the time, only for a better one to come along later. I’m sure we’ve all been there. That was the case for me with wireless audio. I wanted, many years ago, to be able to stream music to two other rooms in the house. I invested in a couple of Logitech Streambox Booms, which did the job. My Mac acted as a music server, and I could stream both my music library and Internet radio to the Logitech boxes. But it was a clunky setup, a scrollwheel used to select artist, album and track in much the same way as the original scrollwheel iPod – though viewing only one line at a time. AirPlay, when it came along in 2010, was a markedly better solution, but also came with a far higher price-tag.
