The HCM City Department of Natural Resources and Environment has launched a mobile app providing information related to classification of solid wastes at source. — VNS Photo Viet Nam News HCM CITY — A mobile application to provide people information about solid waste classification at source was unveiled in HCM City on June 21. The app, “Phân loại chất thải rắn tại nguồn” (Solid waste classification at source) has been created by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DONRE) and the Việt Nam Post and Telecommunications Group. The helpful sorting tool offers users helpful tips on how to separate various types of untreated solid wastes through images, videos and text. It also shows the process of solid waste collection, how to categorise the waste based on recycling labels and a list of solid waste types. The carrier will operate four weekly flights on the new route on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Vihago’s operations are similar to those of ride-hailing service firms, such as Grab, but Vihago will not take part in the pricing policies of and not collect commissions from its transport service provider-partners. The service, provided by the Vietnam Airport Ground Services Co., Ltd., a member of the Vietnam Airlines Corporation, will start from April 26 and is applicable to flights departing from Tan Son Nhat International Airport. It will later be expanded to other airports nationwide. Customers can call the hotline 1-900-6265 from 12 hours to two hours prior to the departure time to complete the check-in process.
