Another new, never-before-seen image from the mythical Snyder Cut of Justice League has surfaced online. This is the latest in a recent string of images that director Zack Snyder has revealed, as he's been on something of a tear recently. Does that mean he's leading up to something? Any comment on that would be purely speculative at this point. What we do know for sure is that Jason Momoa's Aquaman was gearing up to visit Superman's grave, as evidenced by this new photo. Zack Snyder doesn't do much on Instagram or Twitter. Instead, this image was shared over on the social media site Vero. Instead of sharing the image directly, Snyder shared this image with a fan. Specifically, the individual behind TheNiceCast. Once the image was shared with them on Vero, they took to Twitter to share it with their audience, as Snyder said this was an image "no one had" and that they can "Enjoy and use as you see fit." In sharing the photo on Twitter, TheNiceCast had this to say. "My love for Zack … [Read more...] about Aquaman Visits Superman’s Grave in Latest Justice League Snyder Cut Image

Heading into the weekend, Lucasfilm and Disney officially announced that Dnald Glover will play young Lando Calrissian in Han Solo: A Star Wars Story alongside Alden Ehrenreich as the title character. But what will these old friends and galactic scoundrels be getting up to in this standalone adventure? We have new details that give us an idea what this story will actually be about. And it actually revolves quite a bit around the iconic ship The Millennium Falcon. There are quite a few legendary tales about space pirate Han Solo that can be told in a two hour movie. But there are certain pieces of lore that have often been heard but never seen that may make their way to the big screen if rumors pan out. This movie takes place roughly ten years before Han Solo met Ben Kenobi and Luke Skywalker, which led to him joining the rebellion. For now, Disney and Lucasfilm are staying quiet about Han Solo plot details as they attempt to successfully launch their first ever Star Wars spin-off Rogue … [Read more...] about Is This What the Star Wars: Han Solo Movie Is Actually About?
Photo: Disney/Pixar Call him Frankenstein’s Spork. The central figure in Toy Story 4 — not so much the protagonist but the character around whom most of the film turns — is a simple little plastic utensil that’s been outfitted with googly eyes and pipe-cleaner limbs by a lonely kindergartner. Oh, and contrary to all science and reason — even the perverse science and reason of the Toy Story universe — he’s sentient. After young Bonnie, the latest human owner of the series’ familiar coterie of talking toys, puts together this adorable monstrosity, the spork — christened Forky — opens his eyes and speaks! Unfortunately, all he can say at first is “Trash,” which is also all he wants: He longs to hop into the nearest garbage can, cuddle up with a napkin-blanket, and forget about the big scary world into which he’s just been born. The bizarre, unsettling, and somehow still delightful … [Read more...] about : Forky Is Just the First Sign This Movie Is Not Like the Others
Oh, boy! This could go over like a lead balloon. But it seems Han Solo: A Star Wars Story may be taking a page out of the Indiana Jones playbook. Possibly as an ode to Harrison Ford, who is being replaced by Alden Ehrenreich in this second spin-off since Lucasfilm was acquired by Disney. And keep in mind, this isn't some lofty rumor. This comes directly from the mouth of Disney CEO Bob Iger, who is in charge of this entire operation. Apparently Han Solo isn't really Han Solo's name. But we'll learn how he got this name in the upcoming movie, set for release in summer 2018. As many well know, Indiana Jones' real name is Henry Jones Jr., and that he took on the name of his family dog when he got into archeology. That has always rubbed some fans the wrong way. Now, it appears that Han Solo isn't really the given name of the space pirate we've all come to know and love. But this latest Star Wars story will explain how he came by his now much more iconic name. Not only did Iger drop this … [Read more...] about Han Solo Movie to Expose a Big Secret, Timeline Revealed
House Arrest Cast: Ali Fazal, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Barkha Singh, Jim Sarbh Directors: Shashanka Ghosh and Samit Basu Cinema has confined men, women and children in closed spaces--rooms in particular--often willfully. Sometimes, mistakenly. Lenny Abrahamson's Room confines a young woman to a room, well a kind of garage, for seven long years. She even gives birth to a boy, and he is not allowed to see the world outside by their captor. In Home Alone, an eight-year-old boy is mistakenly locked up in his house while he family flies to Paris for Christmas! Vikramaditya Motwane's 2016 Trapped sees Rajkummar Rao trapped inside his flat for days without water or food. Both Home Alone and Trapped seem stretched and strange, even unbelievable. And Netflix's latest original in Hindi, House Arrest, is not very different either. Shashanka Ghosh and Samit Basu cast Ali Fazal as a young man, who is so fed up with his work, people and the polluted environment in in his city that he shuts himself in his … [Read more...] about House Arrest Movie Review: Ali Fazal’s Film Hardly Has Any Surprises
Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele could release a Jim Jarmusch-style film where they talk about Liam Neesons for 90 minutes and people would probably watch it. (We would.) But being “ambitious” and “creative” and all, the duo has bigger plans, as detailed in a recent EW interview. First of all, speaking of Key & Peele spinoffs, Key says that they are currently negotiating with Paramount to make a Mr. Garvey movie, based on their viral hit sketch about an inner-city teacher substituting at a suburban high school. This inverted take on Dangerous Minds is currently being written by two Key & Peele writers, or, as Key says, “they’re not penning it as we speak — it’s getting there.” Advertisement Then there’s the Police Academy reboot that’s been aimlessly wandering around Hollywood for the past few years. Key and Peele are now apparently producing the film, with The Mindy Project’s Ike Barinholtz and … [Read more...] about Key and Peele are developing a Mr. Garvey movie, among other things
