September 6, 2012 by www.wpbeginner.com

We have already noticed other sites requiring their users to have a strong password. Bluehost requires their users to have a strong password for email in cPanel. Arstechnica wrote a great article on why passwords have never been weaker — and crackers have never been stronger. While WordPress has a password strength meter that shows user how strong their password is, it does not enforce the strength. Having an administrator or editor level user with a weak password can present a security risk. In this article, we will show you how to force strong passwords on users in WordPress. Video Tutorial Subscribe to WPBeginner If you don’t like the video or need more instructions, then continue reading. We will use the plugin Force Strong Passwords . This plugin duplicates the WordPress JavaScript password strength check in PHP, and forces users with executive powers to use a strong password. So basically any user that has the capability to publish posts, upload files, … [Read more...] about How to Force Strong Password on Users in WordPress

iPhone demand weakness just ‘noise,’ outlook remains strong, analyst says

March 12, 2021 by appleinsider.com

Investment bank Morgan Stanley calls recent reports of weaker iPhone demand "supply chain noise," and sees the AAPL pullback as a buying opportunity for investors. In a note to investors seen by AppleInsider , analyst Katy Huberty says she agrees with reports of iPhone 12 mini weakness, but adds that the overall demand environment remains positive for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro lineup. For one, she cites reports that Apple is cutting iPhone production to 75 million units in the first half of 2021. Although Huberty admits this has contributed to recent AAPL underperformance, she says the news is "noise rather than anything that impacts the fundamental outlook." A recent Morgan Stanley check indicated that there's between three million and five million units of total iPhone build upside risk for the first half of 2021. That's because the bank's research indicates that build orders for specific iPhone 12 and iPhone 11 models are being revised up, not … [Read more...] about iPhone demand weakness just ‘noise,’ outlook remains strong, analyst says

The conference was organised by the city Bar Association and the Law Association for Asia Pacific (Lawasia). About 300 lawyers, Government and corporate representatives are participating in the two-day event, the first such event held by Lawasia in Viet Nam. In 2007, the 10th Party Central Committee ratified the Việt Nam Maritime Strategy towards 2020. The strategy, and the myriad guidelines, policies and generous investment that have followed it have turbo-charged Việt Nam ’s coastal economy, which includes tourism, fisheries, oil and gas, and other sectors reliant on the sea. However, a wide range of challenges stands in the way of the country reaching its primary targets: ensuring the sea-based economy accounts for 53-55 per cent of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) and per capita income in coastal areas doubles the average of the whole country … [Read more...] about 10 years on, Việt Nam’s vision of strong sea-based economy faces rows of roadblocks
