NA Chairwoman welcomes parliamentarians from Gunma province

NA Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân (R) receives  Japan’s Gunma Prefecture, headed by its Governor, Masaaki Osawa in Hà Nội on Thursday. — VNA/VNS Photo Phạm Kiên HÀ NỘI — The National Assembly of Việt Nam will do its best to promote relations between Việt Nam and Japan in all fields, said NA Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân. She made the statement while receiving a delegation from Japan’s Gunma Prefecture, headed by its Governor, Masaaki Osawa, in Hà Nội on Thursday. Ngân proposed to increase ties between Vietnamese and Japanese lawmakers and said that the two countries’ friendship parliamentarians’ groups should increase delegation exchanges among their localities. Patient phone survey planned

The Ministry of Health’s Medical Examination and Treatment Department and Vietnam Initiatives at Indiana University, will pilot a patient satisfaction telephone survey. — VNA/VNS Photo Phương Vy HÀ NỘI — The Ministry of Health’s Medical Examination and Treatment Department and Vietnam Initiatives at Indiana University, will pilot a patient satisfaction telephone survey. Similar surveys conducted previously were done online. In recent years, the ministry has surveyed inpatient and outpatient satisfaction every three months, helping hospitals to find weaknesses and improve their quality. In 2016, the ministry installed software to survey patient satisfaction online. From December 2016 to March 2017, 61 out of 63 health departments nationwide conducted the survey.
