Another budget local airline, Vietjet, has launched an HCMC-Bali service. Jetstar Pacific will operate three weekly round-trip flights on the route on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays to meet the air travel demand of some 4,500 passengers across the two localities each month. The first flight, with a duration of two hours and 15 minutes per leg, is scheduled to take off on August 10. The carriage’s furniture is made up of composite materials, which have high endurance towards fire and are dust resistant. The aisles are spacious and the floor is covered with a layer imported from France, which is able to resist fire and protect the train from noise. The carriages are equipped with air conditioners for each seat and luggage shelves. Each seat has a socket to charge electronic devices, a foldable TV under the luggage shelves and a reading lamp.
