The 6,000 people who set off from the Gare du Nord railway station were joined in the city centre by 1,000 others who started in Molenbeek, a rundown district that has gained an unwelcome reputation as a jihadi haven. Many of the thousands to march through the streets were clutching Belgian flags, flowers and emblems and banners of peace. Ryan 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald is one of the great success stories of reality TV, having turned a memorable stint on Big Brother in 2004 into a lucrative media career. But someone forgot to tell Sunrise host Sam Armytage about Fitzy's early days in showbusiness when she came in for an interview with Nova 96.9's Fitzy & Wippa on Thursday. While discussing her ongoing feud with Married At First Sight's Martha Kalifatidis, Sam made a dismissive remark about reality stars and their '15 minutes of fame'. 'He was from Big Brother!' Every E3 conference has that one behind-closed-doors gameplay reveal. The one that combines holy-cow gameplay, how'd-they-do-that visual trickery, and the mystique of hiding behind an “industry-only” shield. The one that sets tongues wagging. This year, CD Projekt RED's long-awaited Cyberpunk 2077 has arguably claimed that buzzy throne. After a wild, brief tease in 2013, the William Gibson-inspired, near-future RPG went into hiding, but it has emerged at this year's E3 to answer many questions—and to inspire another zillion.
