Nguyễn Nhị Linh, director of Ninh Thuận Province’s Preventive Health Centre, said it was not yet an epidemic, but 287 dengue fever cases had been recorded since the beginning of this year, compared with just 10 cases reported in the same period last year. Phan Rang-Tháp Chàm City had the highest number with over 100 cases, followed by Ninh Phưóc, Ninh Sơn and Ninh Hải districts. In the areas on the city’s 1:2000 ratio programming map, individuals or organisations will be allowed to renovate or build a new structure with no more than three floors. In mixed agricultural land and residential areas , owners can either renovate or build a new building if the structure was built before July 2006. If it was built after July 2006, only renovation can be done. In areas with road traffic projects or along railway safety corridors, owners can renovate or build a new house of no more than three floors. The ZV-9 area is part of the “930ha Area” project located in downtown HCM City. Under the new adjustment, buildings on land covering 1,917sq.m located at 32 Ngô Thời Nhiệm Street in District 3 will be permitted to have a maximum height of 32 metres, an increase of 12 metres over the previous figure. Effective August 19, the decree states that persons who have their land recovered will be compensated with new land which has the same purpose of use. If no land for compensation is available, the persons will instead receive compensation equal to the land-use right value at the time of issuance of the recovery decision. In cases of compensation for new land or houses, if there is any difference in value, such differences will be paid in cash.
