Nguyễn Thị Thu, deputy chairman of the committee, cited the growing number of reported cases of mental and physical abuse of children in kindergartens. The committee asked the department to also propose solutions to minimize such abuse in the educational environment. The HCM City Department of Natural Resources and Environment has launched a mobile app providing information related to classification of solid wastes at source. — VNS Photo Viet Nam News HCM CITY — A mobile application to provide people information about solid waste classification at source was unveiled in HCM City on June 21. The app, “Phân loại chất thải rắn tại nguồn” (Solid waste classification at source) has been created by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DONRE) and the Việt Nam Post and Telecommunications Group. Director Bùi Xuân Cư ờng said the department had collaborated with technology firms to integrate the HCM City Traffic Portal with the Zalo app. They can find information about traffic flow, roadblocks, accidents, traffic congestion and current traffic via live images captured by 700 traffic cameras. The imaging, which helped localise the boundary between a cancerous tumour and healthy tissues, identified sentinel nodes that were removed along with a 15 mm-cancerous tumour. Several months ago, the patient began having symptoms such as flatulence and abdominal pain, and later bought medicine. But his condition worsened. At Bình Dân Hospital, the man was diagnosed with gastric cancer at an early stage. The cancerous tumour was small and had not spread to the deeper layers of the stomach wall.
