Danang puts IT park into operation By Nhan Tam The entrance to the Danang Information Technology Park in Hoa Vang District - PHOTO: NHAN TAM DANANG – Following six years of construction, Danang Information Technology Development JSC has opened the first phase of the Danang Information Technology Park (DITP) in the city’s Hoa Vang District. The park, which covers 341 hectares, was built at a cost of more than VND2.74 trillion (US$118.1 million). Of this, the first phase, costing VND1.06 trillion, has completed its infrastructure components on 131 hectares, allowing investors to begin operations. The industrial park, which was designed based on the models of Silicon Valley in the United States and the Hsinchu Science Park in Taiwan, is aimed at attracting hi-tech enterprises. Le Truong Ky said during a groundbreaking ceremony on March 29 that the factory will be put into technical operation in February 2020, ahead of its commercial service in April 2020.
