The ship, with 222 crew members and headed by Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Davis, was welcomed at Tien Sa Port by representatives of the Ministry of Defence, navy, Military Zone No.5 command, and the city administration, and the Australian ambassador in Viet Nam, Bill Tweddell. DA NANG — US naval ship USS John McCain anchored at Tien Sa port in the central city of Da Nang yesterday with 23 officers and 315 sailors aboard.
