Since then, the friendship and comprehensive co-operation relation between the two countries have been continuously developed and consolidated. The two sides regularly exchange delegations at all levels and maintain close co-operation at international and regional forums. In the first eight months of the year, bilateral trade between them reached US$1.87 billion. Viet Nam's main exports to the Philippines include rice, electronic components and agricultural products.
