The information was revealed by Việt Nam Telecommunications Authority until mid-March. Decree 49, issued last year, stipulates that by April 24, 2018, all mobile subscriptions activated before April 24, 2017, have to be registered with accurate information of owners, including name, identification/passport number and a profile picture. If they fail to register, the providers will block incoming calls after 15 days and stop providing services in the next 15 days. The inter-sector system allows health, industry-trade, agriculture-rural development sectors and authorities at district, ward and town levels to receive food-related reports and issue warnings. The first level warning station is located at the Food Safety and Hygiene Division under the city’s Health Department. The second level warning station is located at district level’s clinics, with the third at ward’s clinics. The second and third levels are in charge of receiving food problem reports, inspecting them and reporting them to higher levels. NCB reports triple pre-tax profit rise National Citizen Bank (NCB) recorded pre-tax profit of nearly VND91 billion (US$3.9 million) last year, a three-fold increase from the previous year, according to the bank’s financial report. However, the bank’s handsome profit did not come from its net interest income, which dropped by 12% over 2017. By December 31 last year, NCB’s total assets had reached more than VND72.4 trillion, a slight increase of 0.8% versus early last year. Of which, loans increased 11.1% to hit VND35.3 trillion, while its deposits and lending at other credit institutions fell 29% to some VND6.7 trillion. The bank mobilized nearly VND 47.1 trillion from depositors last year, up 3.1% against 2017. NCB’s impressive business results prove its efforts in restructuring and diversifying its services.
