On the Citizen Day, all employees of L’Oréal Vietnam spend a full working day bringing their skills and energy to the community. The program was implemented by the Thai Consulate General in collaboration with the Thai community in HCMC, businesses and governmental organizations at Ky Quang 2 Pagoda in Go Vap District, which is home to more than 200 orphaned children. The Thai Consulate General in HCMC donated over VND100 million and necessities for the children, such as rice, food, milk, toys, stationery, cradles, mattresses and nappies, and four scholarships worth VND3 million each to students patronized by the pagoda. At least 2,650 communal health stations are set up in makeshift houses, and another 3,000 need urgent repairs and upgradation, Tiến said while speaking at the inauguration of a health station in Chiềng Yên Commune in the mountainous Sơn La Province’s Vân Hồ District.
