The information was revealed by Việt Nam Telecommunications Authority until mid-March. Decree 49, issued last year, stipulates that by April 24, 2018, all mobile subscriptions activated before April 24, 2017, have to be registered with accurate information of owners, including name, identification/passport number and a profile picture. If they fail to register, the providers will block incoming calls after 15 days and stop providing services in the next 15 days. The city’s Centre for Preventive Medicine could meet only one-thirtieth of the total demand for 91,000 vaccination doses. The registration process on the centre’s website at ytdphanoi.gov.vn -- during the third phase of the serviced vaccination programme this year -- started at 9am on Thursday. The system was soon overloaded with more than 91,000 logins, and automatically shut down after one hour and 28 minutes of recording registrations for the available 3,080 doses. The vaccines comprised 1,880 doses held over from the second phase last month and 1,200 new doses. Those who failed to register their children for the vaccination this time will have to wait for the next registration period. Processed and unprocessed pork fat is found at an illegal processing centre in Đà Nẵng City.— VNS Photo Anh Tuấn Viet Nam News - ĐÀ NẴNG (VNS) — The central city’s environmental police department, along with the veterinary sub-department, seized 780kg of packaged and fresh pork fat from an illegal processing house in Liên Chiểu District yesterday. Colonel Trần Thanh Nhơn said 12 bags of the processed pork fat were due to be delivered to the city’s market, while 150kg of the unprocessed fat was scheduled to be fried and packed into bags. Đào Trần Quang, an employee of the processing centre, confessed that the processed pork fat was sold in markets across the city. He said he was paid VNĐ3 million per month to process and deliver pork fat to different markets over the past three years. The deputies rejected replacement of the books with alternative documents when they discussed the proposed Residence Law yesterday. The books ensured the right of residence and contributed to national security and law and order, the deputies argued. But they also worried about problems associated with the books. National Assembly Social Affairs Committee chairwoman Nguyen Thi Hoai Thu said of the proposed law: "It should only be approved if the ‘irrational’ associated requirements relating to the household registration books are eliminated." They will replace the existing Enterprise Law and Foreign Investment Law on July 1, 2006. As it is with much of Vietnamese law, it is difficult to clearly interpret the law and fully predict the impact without implementing decrees. While the common Investment Law has many ambiguities and vague clauses, it should be noted that significant changes were made throughout the drafting process. The previous drafts left out certain Government guarantees, shifted the burden of establishing incentives on investors, and left resolution of disputes in the hands of the Government.
