The office of the Ca Mau government on April 24 said that the provincial chairman had asked the relevant agencies to investigate the claim. Cong Ly Construction-Trading-Tourism Co., the plant’s main investor, had earlier presented some of the difficulties it had encountered, especially the many dead fetuses being gathered at the plant, during its operation. The Investigation Police Department, under the Ministry of Public Security, yesterday, August 18, arrested Ly, 35, the local media reported. The police raided his workplace and residence from the night of August 17 until 3 a.m. on August 18, seizing evidence to serve investigations.
