NA hears 5-year land plan not implemented correctly (19-05-2006) HA NOI  — Many provinces were yet to revise land-use plans according to the 2003 Land Law and several districts and communes have either failed to implement the 2001-05 plan thoroughly or carry out evaluation in a timely manner, said NA Economic and Budgetary Committee at the ongoing session of the National Assembly in Ha Noi. The committee made these observations at the presentation of a government report delivered by Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Mai Ai Truc of the five-year land-use plan for 2006-10 yesterday. The committee’s appraisal report, delivered by Committee Chairman Nguyen Duc Kien, said that these were problems that had adversely impacted the implementation of the 2001-05 plan and the ones that need to be tackled during the new plan period.
