The exhibition is jointly held by the Centre of Hands-on Action and Networking for Growth and Environment (CHANGE) and non-profit organization 350.org, with support from the Consulate General of Germany in HCMC as part of the “Clean Air, Blue Sky” campaign to mark World Environment Day (June 5). (illustration photo) Viet Nam News HÀ NỘI — The Việt Nam General Department of Roads (VNGDR) will set up a hotline to receive complaints and information from road users nationwide. Information on damaged roads will be welcomed, the department said. Provincial and municipal transport departments will be responsible for spreading the hotline number in their area. Close co-ordination between relevant sectors is needed to manage roads nationwide, according to the department, because of increasing road-use. The general department recently co-ordinated with provincial and municipal transport departments and maintain highways and local roads. The VNGDR asked transport departments for annual reports on road infrastructure in each area. The dry season in the south is less severe while the Central Highlands and south-central region may face drought. Nguyễn Văn Hưởng, head of the Climate Forecast Office at the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, said that the first northeast monsoon of last year arrived on October 13. In 2016 it came on October 29, in 2015 on October 9, in 2014 on October 4 and in 2013 on September 25. This year, the first cold air appeared on September 7. Dinh Viet Thang, head of the CAAV, told the Vietnam News Agency that Vietnamese airlines have not yet operated the Boeing 737 Max. Earlier today, the CAAV held a meeting about the issue, and decided not to grant the certification to the narrow body until the cause of the crash is determined, and the United States Federal Aviation Administration takes precautionary measures. WarnerMedia on Tuesday revealed a long-promised streaming service as HBO Max, which while including HBO shows will go beyond them to offer content from a variety of Warner brands. Names on the table include Warner Bros., New Line, DC Entertainment, CNN, TNT, TBS, truTV, The CW, Turner Classic Movies, Cartoon Network/Adult Swim, Crunchyroll, Rooster Teeth, and Looney Tunes, CNBC said. Max will also feature original shows that have yet to be announced. Critically for some viewers, the service will become the exclusive home of the 1990s sitcom "Friends." Netflix paid $80 million to keep the show on its service through 2019, but those rights will transfer when HBO Max launches in spring 2020. Ad-supported HBO Max option coming in June
AT&T announced on Friday that it plans to launch a cheaper ad-supported version of HBO Max in June. The telecom giant has only released minimal detail on the plan. It hasn't yet announced pricing or an exact release date for the upcoming cheaper tier. AT&T expects the ad-supported HBO Max tier to combine with global expansion to drive subscriber and revenue growth in 2021. HBO Max will launch in 60 markets outside of the US in 2021. These will include 39 Latin America and the Caribbean territories in late June and 21 European territories in the second half of 2021. The company anticipates ending the year with between 67 and 70 million subscribers. The service had around 61 million subscribers at the end of 2020. The company expects its HBO unit to more than double its revenue in the next five years. Ear cushions not included with AirPods Max warranty replacements
On Monday, a report details Apple's warranty repair policy for AirPods Max, noting the company does not supply an extra set of ear cushions if the device needs to be replaced. Damien Menn recently discovered Apple's replacement protocol when requesting warranty service for a faulty Digital Crown, reports 9to5Mac . Illustrated in a tweet , Apple informs users to remove AirPods Max's ear cushions before sending the unit in for repair. The replacement device arrives in a form-fitting insert and is fitted with special fiber pouches to protect the ear cups that contain sensitive components like drivers, sensors, and circuit boards. A pamphlet included in the package instructs users to remove the original cushions that came with their AirPods Max, slip on the fiber baggies and stow them securely for the return shipment.
