New game show on employment on air

HCMC – Whose Chance? is a new game show on employment which will go on the air on Vietnam Television's Channel 3 (VTV3) at 11 a.m. every Saturday, starting today, September 14.
The show not only creates a playground for participants to improve their job interview and problem solving skills but also offers a chance for recruiters to find suitable candidates.
Nguyen Thanh Chanh Truc, vice head of the HCMC Small Stage Theater and director of the game show, said: "As an experienced director, I'm really interested in the show's format as it creates many unexpected situations."
Playwright/actress Nghinh Loc said she participates in the game show as a mentor because she wants to help candidates land the right jobs.
With her acting experience, Loc will show contestants how to promote themselves and demonstrate confidence in front of the recruiter and the camera. "Be yourself, truthful, loyal and enthusiastic. Pursue your dreams and do your best to make them come true. Once you fail, find another way," she said.
Whose Chance? is co-produced by VTV and ALO Media. The game show is hosted by renowned MC Lai Van Sam and consists of three rounds.
In each show of the first round, two contestants will convince six recruiters to give them a chance for a job. Just one will be selected for the next round.
In the second round, the selected contestant is required to solve unexpected situations and talk to the recruiter to secure a seat in the final round. The contestant will enter his/her expected salary into a small suitcase which will be kept secret until the final round.
In the final round, the recruiter will press the green button for the candidates they want and announce the jobs and salaries they offer. The decisive moment is whether the offered and expected salaries match.
