In a week where President Donald Trump was derided for “send her back” chants in North Carolina, a “USA” chant broke out as he crashed a wedding of loyal supporters on Saturday night, the New York Post reported. Video of Nicole Marie and PJ Mongelli’s wedding reception were shared on social media, showing the bride and groom embracing President Trump and joining the “USA” chants. Another video shows President Trump visiting with the wedding party’s family at his Bedminister, New Jersey golf resort, as the family invited him to join them during a signing of God Bless America at the reception later. President Trump kept his word and showed up as “USA” chants erupted at the reported MAGA-themed wedding, per the report. MAGA is the slogan for the president’s “Make America Great Again” campaign. The couple was also engaged at Bedminister in 2017, according to the Post. President Trump critics have noted Bedminister brochures were using the presidential drop-in as a selling point for weddings there, but that marketing verbage has since been ceased, according to The New York Times.
